Previous gravel riding experience & a good level of fitness is recommended to best enjoy the trip – the riding is spectacular and varied with lots of climbing and some techincal sections to embrace. The tour is supported by our professional guides & local support team, ensuring all you need to focus on is the ride.
Experience unique accommodations along the way. In Chile start the journey in the Ni-Newen lodge, on the second day we’ll ride the transvolcanic route between the Villarica and Quetrupillan Volcanoes. Continue to the Huilo Huilo nature reserve and stay in the stunning Nothofagus hotel in the heart of the forest. The adventure continues with a special evening under the stars in a comfort camp on the shores of Lago Lacar. Indulge in an Argentinian barbecue & share stories around the camp fire. In San Martin de Los Andes enjoy a touch of luxury at a 5* golf hotel before the journey back to Chile begins. Our last night is at the luxurious & stunning Rakau Lodge, enjoy a river private beach in the Chilean forest and the confort of the best accommodation!
Rated 3 out of 4 our Advanced tours are designed for people who ride regularly and want back to back challenging days on the bike. Riders should be confident riding in a small group, comfortable on extended climbs (at your own pace) and have good bike handling skills on corners and descents. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.
Enjoy a warm welcome from your guides at our first hotel in Pucón. Get to know everyone over a welcome lunch & in the afternoon get the bikes set up & enjoy a short warm-up ride along the River Pucón.
Head out through small villages around Palguin Bajo, begin the long gradual climb through villarica national park with views of Volcán Villarrica. The ride ends with a long descent from 1300 m to Coñaripe
Today is a rolling ride across undulating terrain. Ride alonside the Lago Neltune. The last climb of the day is 12 km up to spectacular Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve.
Start the day with a 2.5 hour ferry ride across the Lago Pirihueico. Our ride takes is up the the border crossing to Argentina. Ride along Lago Lácar with time of a pause & soak up the incredible views at Playa de Yuco. Tonight camp by the lake in a comfort camp. Enjoy food from a private chef and a traditional Argentinian barbeque.
Start the ride with 5 kms of rollings hills to the base of our main climb of the day – 10 kms along the shores of the Lago Lacar. At the top we’re 1,000 m above sea level. Choose single track or an easy downhill to the town.
Ride on a smooth road section to Junin de los Andes before entering the gravel path to Lago Lolog – from here start climbing to discover the Esteppa Patagonica – a truly unique landscape.
Start the day with a short transfer to Junin de los Andes. Today is our last big ride of the trip! Ride 35 kms of a false flat uphill to cross the border at Paso Tromen. Back to Chile, descend with views of Volcan Lanín and follow the Trancura river to our final lodge

Enjoy small group sizes and professional, personal support all week from your guides & support vehicle.
We work with an industry leading guide to guest ratio – expect up to 4 guests per guide on the trip with guides leading the way on the road and a support vehicle close by at all times. Note that for groups of 4 riders or less this tour is run as a guided trip without the support vehicle.
The ride support vehicle is stocked with natural ride nutrition, electrolytes and water, as well as a full set of tools to resolve any mechanicals. On selected days the support crew will serve a delicious picnic lunch in a scenic location en route. Enjoy local foods chosen to keep you feeling energized and healthy.

Julian is from San Martín de Los Andes where he lives with his partner and started his career as a moutnain guide leading ascents to Lanín Volcano & Chalten. He leads our local team in Patagonia and loves the moutains, to explore new places and to be in nature. Julian likes to ride gravel and mountain bikes all over Argentina.
Facundo lives in his family farm with his wife & two daughters in his hometown of San Martín de los Andes. A multi- adventure guide specializing in mountain bike he loves the mountains, is a gym instructor and runs a coaching school. As well a guiding cycling trips, he also runs kayaking trips and is a competitive trail runner.
Ariel is a triathlete from Argentina and has always loved to ride. After pursuing a sensible career in sales in Barcelona Ariel joined our Cycling Tours team to focus his life & career on… cycling!
