Summary

Discover the south of Spain in all its glory on this eight-day tour of Andalucia. Ride west across the region from Almeria to Seville, stopping at Granada, Antequera, Ronda and Arcos de la Frontera along the way. Observe the unique personality of each village, town and city and the changing landscape as each leg of the tour brings new challenges, discoveries and stories.

The tour will kick off from Almeria as the group moves west towards the town of Laujar de Andarax. From there, the next destination on the cards is Granada, one of Spain’s most beautiful cities backed by the spectacular Sierra Nevada mountains, also featured as part of the ride on day 3! After exploring this magical city and discovering some of Granada’s best tapas bars, the next leg of the route will head west once again in the direction of Antequera, a slightly smaller town with an incredible natural wonder right on its doorstep!

After Antequera, the destination on day 5 is Ronda, home to the awe-inspiring Puente Nuevo. Enjoy a calm stroll around the town and the Plaza de la Duquesa de Parcent in the afternoon and enjoy the views over the surrounding countryside. On day 6, it’s time to ride to Arcos de la Frontera, a white village perched on the top of a hill and considered by some to be one of the most beautiful villages in Spain! The final destination of the Trans Andalucian tour is Seville, one of Andalucia’s most iconic cities, with the chance to watch an authentic flamenco show in the evening, accompanied by a well-deserved glass of wine.

The group will stay in a different city and hotel each night as the tour moves from Almeria to Seville, each offering a hearty breakfast before the ride each day. The Eat Sleep Cycle team will keep you fuelled en-route with snacks and drinks, and there’ll be no shortage of opportunities to discover traditional Andalucian dishes and sweet treats each night.
