Discover the flavours & landscapes of the Empordà wine region. Cycle to the rugged coastline & the fishing village of Cadaques, made famous by Catalan artist Salvador Dalì. Next up are the rice fields & paella of medieval Pals & the stunning Costa Brava coastline. Experience one of the most dramatic coastlines in the world by bike & by boat. Finish the tour in the historic city of Girona.

CYCLING ITINERARY

Day 1:

Meet your guides at Figueres train station.

Empordà: Ride & Taste
Ride: Mollet de Peralada for a wine tour, tasting & picnic lunch, 8-18 kms.
Evening meal: Tastes of Peralada

Day 2:

Salvador Dalí & Cadaques
Morning ride or transfer – Peralada to Cadaques via the monastery at Sant Pere de Rodes, 39 km
Enjoy lunch at our favourite spot in Cadaques
Afternoon ride: Cap de Creus, 17 km
Evening meal: Indulge at a michelin star restaurant with an unforgettable view of the coast.

Day 3:

Pals rice fields & the medieval villages of Empordà
Morning ride: Empuries to Pals, 27 km
Walking tour of Pals & traditional paella lunch

Costa Brava by bike & boat
Ride the best coast road in the world, 26 km
Enjoy a casual lunch on a picturesque medieval terrace

Travel Logistics

Arrive: Meet at Figueres train station at 11:00 on Day 1 of the tour for a group transfer to Perelada.

Depart: Plan your onward travel from Girona. The train station is a short taxi ride from our final hotel.

Guests are responsible for booking their own flights and travel insurance. We can book your transfers for you.
