Tour Leader

Job Description

Join our dynamic team of guides to deliver exceptional cycling experiences on road & gravel across Europe and beyond. Eat Sleep Cycle guides are hospitality experts – we’re looking for great communicators who know how to curate magical moments and ensure guests are having the time of their lives.

Essential Experience

1

Working in a customer experience focused environment

1

Managing & leading groups of people to achieve tasks

1

A full driving licence and experience driving vans on small roads

1

Experience leading rides and providing support for groups of cyclists

1

An in date Emergency First Aid qualification

1

Good bicycle mechanic skills, you are able to fix flats, change disc brake pads and perform safety checks

1

Good fitness and exceptional energy levels

Responsibilities

1

Ensure a seamless, 5* delivery of the tour itinerary so guests can enjoy the time of their lives

1

Promote safe cycling at all times, prioritize accident prevention

1

Build exceptional relationships with guests & your colleagues

1

Deliver daily briefings to guests about the day’s ride and any other activities

1

Problem solve on the ground and know when to escalate to HQ

1

Deliver a tour within the allocated budget, track expenses and supply receipts

1

Attend a debrief with the team at HQ, review guest feedback

Participate in the guide team briefing ahead of the tour

1

Review detailed guests information, trip itinerary and routes ahead of departure and raise any questions or suggestions

Route design & tour recons - support the team at HQ

1

Review tour equipment checklist, prepare bikes & pack vans

Contract details

Our guides are registered self-employed in their country of residence

Guide work is seasonal, from April to October (with limited work avaialble outside of these months)

Renumeration is per day, our day rates are set subject to experience
