Ride the Costa Tropical and experience Europe’s mildest ‘winter’ climate. Stay in the mediterranean town of Almuñécar & enjoy rides along the coast and into the Alpujarra mountains. Start the week with a coastal cruise along the mediterranean. Climb the stunning Carretera del Cabra & get off the beaten track with the secret climb to El Rescate. Venture high into the Sierra Nevada mountains & finish the week with a spectacular point to point ride from the coast to Granada.
The coastal village of Almuñécar hosts the camp. Enjoy sun-drenched beaches and a relaxed way of life. Whilst the temperatures may drop in the mountains the beach is the perfect plans to relax & soak up the sun after the day’s ride.

Antton is from Finland and moved to San Sebastian after many years in Barcelona. He is a great photographer & can be found guiding in the Pyrenees, North Spain & Girona.
Gavin moved from the UK to the village of Lliber, just inland from the Costa Blanca and in the heart of the cycling paradise of the Calpe region. His favourite local climb is the Col de Rates and his favourite cafe stop in the area is Cafe Velosol in Jalon.
We understand that quality miles require quality and quantity of food. That’s why this trip is half-board and we provide ride nutrition too.
Andalucia is as famous for its food as it is for its rich history and culture. From pucheros to paella, seafood to salmorejo, the flavours of this area of Spain are sure to tickle your tastebuds.
A breakfast buffet is included each morning at your Hotel. During the ride we will keep you fuelled with our favourite ride food. We’ll stop en route for lunch at local bars where you can choose from the menu (at your own expense).
