Ride coast-to-coast through the beautiful English countryside and discover the county that hosted the 2014 Tour de France Grand Départ and the 2019 world championships.
Start on the east coast of England in the picturesque village of Robin Hood’s Bay & a gentle spin to the fishing town of Whitby. Ride west from here acorss the Yorkshire Moors to Harrogate, the thiriving host town of the 2019 cycling world championships. From Harrogate ride into the stunning Yorkshire Dales, tackle the Buttertubs Pass, take on the brutal lane to Dent and marvel at the Ribblehead viaduct. Continue west to the Lake District, taste Kendal mint cake, climb the notorious Hard Knott pass & celebrate our coast to coast adventure in Seascale.
There will be craft beer in English pubs, afternoon tea in quintessential English tearooms, fish & chips by the north sea, a Sunday roast (with Yorkshire pudding!), the best tea in the world on tap and a whole lot of incredible riding.

Departures from York
Our Tour of Yorkshire is designed for Advanced riders who love long days in the saddle, mixed with culture & delicious food. The tour is accessible to Intermediate, Level 2 riders though using the support vehicle to shorten rides or choosing our Orbea M20 electric road bike. Guests are invited to take all climbs at their own pace. To best enjoy the tour riders should be comfortable riding 100 kms. Training for the tour is recommended.
This tour is accessible for non-cycling partners to join however be aware of the 3 point to point stages, where non-cycling guests can ride in the support van or take a private transfer to the next location (at additional cost). We’ll work with non-riders ahead of the tour to create their perfect holiday itinerary.
Rides are fully supported by our team of guides and vehicles.
The ride support vehicle is stocked with natural ride nutrition, electrolytes and water. Lunch will be enjoyed at our favourite spots along the route or served as a roadside picnic in scenic locations by the support team.
Eat Sleep Cycle ride leaders are experienced riders from all walks of life united by a love of Cycling who’ll help to keep the group safe, motivated and savouring the trip of a lifetime. Our Tour Leaders know the region well and speak the local language.
Mechanical support will be close by at all times.

Start the day with a breakfast buffet at the hotel to prepare for a spectacular day in the saddle. Stay fueled all day with ride nutrition from the support vehicle and enjoy food at our favourite lunch stops.
