If you’re looking for a block of long rides in the sun look no further than our Girona Road Camp for racking up quality base miles with like-minded riders.
The Festival Edition turns up our Road Camps one notch higher. With extra days in Girona, this is not only about more time on the bike, it’s about being in the city when something really special is happening.
These departures are timed to coincide with Girona’s most iconic cultural festivals — moments when the city feels electric yet few visitors know.
>> Come join us for:
Easter Weekend (April)
If you’ve never experienced Easter in Spain, this is something else entirely. Girona’s medieval streets set the stage for candlelit nighttime processions, Roman legions in full regalia, drums echoing through the old town, and an atmosphere that’s powerful, solemn, and unforgettable. It’s history, theatre, and tradition rolled into one and a hidden highlight not often experienced by visitors.
Flower Festival (May)
A truly unique Girona moment. During Temps de Flors, the entire old city becomes an open-air exhibition, with over 200 floral installations spread across courtyards, stairways, churches, and historic buildings. The festival also brings Open Doors — rare access to private spaces normally closed to the public — the event draws 400,000 visitors from across Catalonia yet is mostly unknown elsewhere.
Sant Narcís Festival (October)
This is the week Girona comes alive. Live music, pop-up stages, and street events take over the city in celebration of its patron saint. The highlights? Correfoc — a full-throttle spectacle of fire, drums, sparks, and crowd participation that floods the streets in controlled chaos – calling this a ‘firework display’ is lame; the translation ‘firefight’ is much more apt. The following morning, the mood shifts as the medieval square packs full to watch Castellers build human towers up to ten levels high — breathtaking, nerve-wracking, and utterly unforgettable.
>> AND enjoy the Road Camp too:
We’ve carefully designed all the rides for maximum enjoyment. Expect to see lots of the stunning coast roads & mediterranean sea and discover a different side to cycling in the Girona region. The camp is designed to be the perfect opportunity to build endurance and base fitness throughout the cycling season.
You’ll arrive as the city is already buzzing, with festival energy building across the old town ahead of the weekend’s headline moments.
Exhibitions, installations, rehearsals, street activity, and events are happening from day one. Crucially, most of the major celebrations take place after riding, so you’re free to head out for a great spin before soaking up the atmosphere later.
Settle in, build the excitement, and enjoy Girona as it starts to shift into something special.
If you didn’t already sneak out yesterday, today is your chance to enjoy a first warm-up ride — stretching the legs on quiet roads before Girona takes centre stage in the evening.
Big miles on the bike plus unforgettable moments in the city mixed in. Each festival delivers a completely different kind of energy.
Teams work together to build human towers that can rise up to ten levels high. It’s a breathtaking mix of strength, balance, trust, and tradition — thrilling, tense, and genuinely awe-inspiring to watch as the final climber ascends and the square holds its breath.
Rendesvoux with the group at Eat Sleep Cycle at 12 noon. Meet your guides, fellow riders and get your training for the week ahead. The first group ride is on rolling terrain with two steady climbs and a punchy finish.
Sadly, the tour draws to an end on day 10, and all that’s left to do is say our goodbyes and prepare for the journey home.
