Join us for four amazing days of gravel riding through the heart of Andalucia. Starting and finishing in Granada, these guided loops take you across ever-changing landscapes—from mountain trails and pine forests to olive groves, whitewashed villages, and hidden valleys. Ride with an experienced local guide who knows every climb, café stop, and viewpoint. Expect great riding, good company, and plenty of post-ride tapas in true Granada style.
Upon arrival in Granada, drop luggage off at the hotel and meet the Eat Sleep Cycle team for a welcome briefing and warm-up ride, a 42 km undulating route through the countryside just west of Granada.
In the evening get to know your guides and ride companions for the week with an evening meal in Granada city centre.
On the first full day of riding, the route heads east from Granada into the Sierra Nevada, climbing through the Genil valley toward Güéjar Sierra. Tackle the challenging Collado del Alguacil ascent, enjoy panoramic mountain views, then descend along scenic ridges and pine forests to the turquoise Embalse de Quéntar. A flowing final descent brings you back to Granada—a classic mountain loop of quiet roads, rewarding climbs, and unforgettable scenery.
Enjoy a free evening to explore the city at your own pace, we’ll supply recommendations for restaurants and to make the most of your time in Granada. Consider heading to a tablao to see a Flamenco show.
Today the route heads southwest from Granada across the fertile Vega de Granada, passing farmland and charming villages like La Malahá and Castillo de Tajarja. Ride past olive groves to the striking Acueducto del Canal de Cacín, then enjoy a long, flowing descent back to Granada, framed by the Sierra Nevada.
Enjoy a free evening to explore the city at your own pace, why not book a tour of the Alhambra at night for a magical experience?
On the forth day, the route heads northeast from Granada through El Fargue, climbing steadily into the pine-covered slopes of the Sierra de Huétor. Switch to gravel tracks at La Alfaguara and continue a quiet, rewarding ascent through forest and limestone cliffs. After the high point, enjoy a flowing descent past shaded picnic spots to the turquoise Embalse de Quéntar, then roll back to Granada.
Tonight we’ll share stories and celebrate a great week of riding with our final meal together at our favourite spot in Granada.
On the fifth and final day of the tour, the time has come to say farewell. Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel and a stroll around the city centre (if there is time!) before starting the journey home.
