Join us on the wild and beautiful west coast of Sardinia for a fully guided week of coastal riding, from the Catalan-flavoured city of Alghero all the way south to Pula. Hug the cliffs on one of the most spectacular coast roads in Italy to colourful Bosa, climb into the volcanic hills of Montiferru, and roll through the dunes and old mining villages of the Costa Verde and Iglesiente.
Hop across to the island of Sant’Antioco before a grand finale along the turquoise bays of the south coast. With your guide and our support van alongside you every day, all you need to do is ride, soak up the views and enjoy the island’s food, wine and hospitality.

Arrive in Alghero, a walled seaside city with a strong Catalan heritage. Meet your guide and the rest of the group at the hotel for a tour briefing, then head out to explore the old town and the sea walls before a welcome dinner together.
After bike set-up and a safety briefing we hit the road on one of the most beautiful coastal rides in Italy. The road between Alghero and Bosa clings to the cliffs high above the sea, with rolling climbs, almost no traffic and huge views at every turn. We finish in colourful Bosa on the banks of the river Temo.
Today we leave the coast behind and climb inland into the volcanic hills of Montiferru, through cork oak woods, sheep pastures and quiet stone villages. A proper day in the hills ends in Santu Lussurgiu, a historic village famous for its craftsmanship, where we stay in a traditional albergo diffuso. Tonight we sit down together for a traditional Sardinian dinner of local cheeses, cured meats, handmade pasta and slow-roasted meats, paired with wines from the surrounding hills.
A long but mostly flat day as we descend from the hills to the coast, crossing the wetlands and farmland around Oristano where flamingos gather in the lagoons. We roll south to Torre dei Corsari on the wild Costa Verde, with its golden dunes and empty beaches.
Ride through one of the wildest corners of Sardinia, past the towering sand dunes of Piscinas and the abandoned mining villages of Montevecchio and Ingurtosu. The road twists through the hills of the Iglesiente before dropping into the small seaside town of Buggerru.
A stunning coastal stage past Masua and Nebida, with views over the famous Pan di Zucchero sea stack rising out of the sea. At Portovesme we hop on the ferry to Carloforte on the island of San Pietro, then take a second short ferry across to Calasetta on Sant’Antioco. We finish the day with a loop of Sant’Antioco’s wild west and south coast before returning to the whitewashed fishing village of Calasetta. This evening we celebrate the island’s fishing heritage with a seafood dinner, featuring Calasetta’s famous local tuna and a glass of Carignano wine.
Our longest day takes us back to the mainland and along the south coast, with turquoise bays, quiet roads and the beaches of Chia along the way. We finish in Pula, close to the ancient city of Nora, and celebrate the week with a farewell dinner.
Enjoy a final breakfast before saying goodbye. Transfers to Cagliari Airport are available on request.
