The cuisine of the Canary Islands combines traditional Spanish recipes with African and Latin-American influences. Some recipes have been imported from the Spanish mainland, but many original flavours can be found in the Canarian specialities. The basis of the typical local cuisine is a variety of vegetables, fruit and fish. Meat usually features as part of a stew and steaks are mostly imported from mainland Spain or South America. Colourful local markets in every town offer an abundance of seasonal produce that is fresh and inexpensive. Sample locally-made specialities, including chorizo, goat’s cheese and honey.
The tour is full-board, including breakfast and evening meals at our hotel, and a simple lunch served roadside or in cafes en route.

The enthusiasm of Louise, Lee and Brian is so highly addictive, it makes me regret I was able to spend only 2 days cycling with them. They take care of everything and show you around like a good friend would. Impossible not to love this small business!Charlotte Meerscchaut
I had a terrific trip. Definitely the best organised cycle trip I’ve been on, in a beautiful part of the world.Geoff Trimm
