Traka is our home race and we’ve been on the startline since it’s inception. We’ve watched Traka grow from a couple of hundred entrants to become the event not to miss on the Girona cycling calendar. Now it’s your turn to come and experience the festival vibes and be part of an epic week of gravel riding – our package includes entry to your choice of the Traka 100 or Traka 200 race (entries are limited and allocated of a first come, first serve basis!)

Rated 4 out of 4 our Epic tours are designed for people who train 3 or 4 times a week and are looking to push themselves on back to back challenging days on the bike. Riders should be confident riding in a small group, comfortable on extended climbs (at your own pace) and have good bike handling skills on corners and descents. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.

Welcome to Girona!

Meet at Eat Sleep Cycle to enjoy a welcome lunch together with the group. Then it’s time to get set up on your bike and head out for an easy afternoon shake-down ride in the surrounding countryside.

We’ll enjoy a relaxed evening meal together in Girona centre.

Day 2
The Gavarres Recon Ride

This morning we’ll ride into the Gavarres to check bikes & body are ready for climbing! Guides will be on hand to give tips on how to handle the terrain.

Back at the hub, our team will carry out thorough bike checks for Traka 200 Riders to ensure your rig is race-ready. We’ll also take care of race registration together, soaking up the buzz as riders from around the world gather.

Traka 100 Riders can soack up the atmposphere of our SIDETRAXX festival where you have all-area access!

We’ll enjoy an evening meal together as a group before an early night ahead of the big day!

Traka 200 Race Day / Traka 100 Recon Ride

Traka 100 Riders

Today brings another opportunity to get to know another part of the course. We’ll combine route checks with a fun ride experience and a chance to discover the best riding in Girona. We’ll release our final routes when the Traka route is released.

Traka 200 Riders

The Big Dance, race day arrives with an early start and a big sense of anticipation as Traka 200 riders roll out for an epic day on the gravel. From the first kilometres to the final push back into Girona, ESC mechanics and support staff are on hand to ensure you and your bike are ready for the start line, helping keep everything running smoothly so you can focus on the ride. As the kilometres tick by and the finish line draws closer, the atmosphere builds—and we’ll be waiting to welcome you back, ready to celebrate an incredible achievement as you cross the line.

Traka 100 Riders

Today is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a recon ride to get to know the trickiest parts of the course ahead of race day. We’ll be back in time for lunch in town and time to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. We’ll head over to race registration together, perform bike checks and ensure you’re dialled in and ready to race!

Traka 200 Riders

After the excitement of race day, enjoy a well-earned lie-in before heading out for a relaxed spin through the beautiful Girona countryside and to see the Pro’s fly by in the Traka 300 (subject to race route & timings!) We finish back at SIDETRAXX for a post-ride espresso and to catch up wtih Traka 100 riders.

The evening is once again spent together – an early night for Traka 100 calls, whislt Traka 200 riders can enjoy the party mood!

Ride Support

FULL SUPPORT

Enjoy small group sizes and professional, personal support all week from your guides & support vehicle.

We work with an industry leading guide to guest ratio – expect up to 4 guests per guide on the trip with guides leading the way on the road and a support vehicle close by at all times. Note that for groups of 4 riders or less this tour is run as a guided trip without the support vehicle.

The ride support vehicle is stocked with natural ride nutrition, electrolytes and water, as well as a full set of tools to resolve any mechanicals. On selected days the support crew will serve a delicious picnic lunch in a scenic location en route. Enjoy local foods chosen to keep you feeling energized and healthy.

Eat Sleep Cycle guides are experienced riders from all walks of life united by a love of cycling who’ll help to keep the group safe, motivated and savouring the trip of a lifetime.

All guests will receive access to our digital Road Book and routes, giving everyone the flexibility to ride at their own pace.

What happens if I need to cancel the trip?
We have a flexible cancelation policy - please take a look at our cancellation policyat the time of booking. If you have any doubts please reach out and we're happy to help.

Is the tour the right level for me?
We rate our tours from Level 1 (Leisure) to Level 4 (Epic). Each tour contains a description of the level, expected daily ride time, distance and elevation. If you have any doubts we're more that happy to speak to you on the phone and help to find you the perfect trip!

What about bikes? Can I hire one or should I bring my own?
We recommend that you hire a bike for your tour and will work with you after you book to help you to choose the best size and model for your ride style. If you prefer to bring your bike, it's no problem. Please be aware that on some of our epic trips we charge a supplement to transport your bike box to our finishing location. If you have any doubts, please ask!

Is insurance included?
Insurance is not included in our tour packages. We highly recommend contracting travel insurance at the time of reservation with a company from where you are from.

Health insurance which covers you for illness or injury whilst cycling in your chosen destination is mandatory, we'll ask you for details of your insurance provider before you travel.
