Created in collaboration with our friends from Wilier, our route celebrates the spirit of discovery with a touch of refined Italian performance to combine quiet luxury with adventure. Starting and finishing in our home town of Girona, the European capital of cycling, we’ll trace a breathtaking route to the Mediterranean coast — staying in hand-picked boutique hotels and indulging in the best of Catalan cuisine and hospitality.
Expect rugged landscapes, smooth gravel, ocean views, gourmet Catalan cuisine, and unforgettable company. To make this journey even more extraordinary, we’ll be joined by two special guest riders (to be announced in January 2026!) who will share the road, stories, and inspiration!

Rated 3 out of 4 our Advanced tours are designed for people who ride regularly and want back to back challenging days on the bike. Riders should be confident riding in a small group, comfortable on extended climbs (at your own pace) and have good bike handling skills on corners and descents. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.
Touch down in one of Europe’s cycling capitals. After meeting the crew at our Girona hub, you’ll be fitted to your Wilier Rave SLR ID2 and head out for a gentle shakedown ride through the old town’s medieval streets and along the Onyar River.
Enjoy some time to relax after the ride before meeting for a sunset aperitvo on a rooftop terrace and a delicious meal showcasing Catalan cuisine in Girona’s old town.
All too soon it’s time to depart Girona. Start the day with a fresh, healthy and delicious breakfast ebfore heading for the iconic coastline of the Costa Brava via the flat lands of Empordà. (There is an option to taken on the climb over the Gavarres mountains for any riders feeling strong!) We’ll regroup at a local apple farm for lunch and finish our ride at the spectacular Hostal Empúries in L’Escala. Expect shimmering Mediterranean views, salty air and time to relax in the hotel spa or enjoy a recovery massage. We’ll re-group to eat some of the best seafood in the region in the evening, accompanied by one of the best views of the mediterranean.
Another epic breakfast with a view sets the tone for the day. Our route promises an unforgettable day’s ride, weaving through rugged gravel tracks, cliff-top trails, and hidden coves kissed by Mediterranean light. We’ll pause for lunch in a secluded cove before dropping down to the fishing village of Cadaques. Arrive at Villa Gala – a whitewashed gem perched above the sea, where you can unwind and enjoy spa-style comfort. Explore the charming streets of Cadaqués, a village that inspired Salvador Dalí, and feel the same timeless creativity and coastal magic that captivated the legendary artist. We’ll head to the local bar for an aperitivo before dining beach side at our favourite chirinquito as the sun sets.
It’s time to turn our backs on the Costa Brava and take on the Queen Stage of the trip back to Girona. Descend from Cadaqués into winding gravel trails and sweeping views of the Alt Empordà. Lunch is at Banyoles lake before the final kms and our triumphant arrival to Girona. Celebrate the week’s achievements over a final gourmet group dinner, raising a glass to friendship, adventure, and unforgettable scenery.
After breakfast, transfers depart from Girona. Take home memories of epic gravel rides, boutique stays, and extraordinary company—and the lingering thrill of the Wilier Rave SLR beneath your wheels. For those who want to squeeze every km into the trip there’s the option to enjoy a morning ride and take a late check out.

Originally from Cardiff, Gethyn is a well-balanced guide who loves the social side of cycling. Whether he’s talking endlessly about the world or enjoying a “marriage made in heaven” (cold beer and pork scratchings), he finds his peace on the road between Tossa and Sant Feliu or swimming in a forest river.
Hailing from Reus, Josep is a guide who finds beauty in the quiet details, from silent bike components to unknown mountain climbs. A lover of history and Led Zeppelin, he enjoys sharing the culture of his hometown. For Josep, a perfect day involves the Pyrenees, a glass of wine, and the Tour de France.
Jordi is from the Girona region and lives on the Costa Brava. Jordi continues to run his own food business and joins our guide team in 2024 to provide top notch vehicle support.
Laura is a guide, professional cycling coach and endurance cyclist who has completed some of the coolest ultradistance gravel events (which she absolutely loved!). Laura loves guiding as she really enjoys empowering people to ride their bikes and discover new places, help their cycling adventures come true, and share unforgettable moments together.
