It is time to leave the coast and head back inland. Riders have the option of taking the tarmac road out or the gravel path. Less experienced riders may prefer the tarmac as it is more steady. Meet the coastline again until El Port and ride into Llança. There is a spectacular climb from here taking you inland and finally down on the ouskirts of Figueres. If time allows plan a visit to the Dalí Theatre museum in the afternoon.
The final leg of the tour is a relaxed ride into Girona. This ride takes you into l’Estany, the region home to Banyoles lake and known for its gorgeous countryside and rolling hills.
