At Eat Sleep Cycle our mission it to make cycling a desirable lifestyle choice by bringing together communities, expanding horizons & having less impact on the environment.

Our goal is to inspire & support people to ride, through building a welcoming community & selling a selection of carefully curated bikes, services & cycling tours.

We are an international team of cycling lovers & we welcome anyone who loves to ride!

Meet the Team



Lee is an Engineer from the north of England who has lived and worked on the Isle of Wight as well as the more exotic locations of China, San Diego & Argentina. After a career change and a stint of Sustainability in London, Lee found his new home in Girona, where he’s busy growing Eat Sleep Cycle alongside increasing his threshold power.



Louise is a touring-cyclist turned road-racer from Kent, England. She studied and worked in London for 6 years in the sustainability sector before heading to Girona where she pursued cycling and the racing dream. Soon after she founded Eat Sleep Cycle. 



Bernat works in our shop, looks after purchasing & heads up custom bike builds & bike fit.

His favourite type of riding is, MTB, gravel and anything involving exploration. If he could ride anywhere in the world he would ride somewhere with a stunning landscape and single-track, for example British Columbia.

When he’s not working he spends time with his family, watching TV series’, practicing photography, cooking, eating and travelling.



Joan is from Catalunya & looks after our rental bike fleet. Joan is a mountain biker and put his roadie colleagues to shame with his insane bike skills.

Willem Jan


Willem Jan is a talented mechanic from the Netherlands with over 20 years of experience fixing all kinds of bikes.

When not in the workshop Willem Jan is out on some type of bike, he races mountain bike & also loves to cruise along the roads.



Cristina is half Catalan half Australian & rides a Cervélo. She works on out tours team, selling, desigining & delivering dream cycling trips.

She holds a masters in Political Science & when not planning cycling tours can be found out riding new roads or baking treats for the office.


Retail Manager

Mike is from London & moved to Girona with his Catalan partner to start a new life! A life-long athelete, Mike is slowly but surely getting addicted to cycling.


Head Barista

Ari can be found most mornings making delicious coffee’s for our lovely café customers!


Head Chef

Bram is from Holland & lives in Girona with his Catalan partner. As Head Chef Bram looks after the ‘Eat’ in Eat Sleep Cycle & cooks delicious food inspired by his travels. When not in the kitchen Bram heads out to sea for kite surfing, or into the regions best restaurants to check out the competition.



Pablo lives with his family on the Costa Brava & works with us as a mechanic.



Luis is from Madrid & moved to Girona to join the team after 15 years in Manchester. He’s an experienced mechanic & when not fixing bikes is out riding bikes.



Manuel is from Argentina & moved to Girona in the summer of 2021 with his partner. He loves to travel!



Mateu is from L’Escala & lives in Girona. He works in the shop looking after our customers & selling bikes & clothing. When not selling bikes, Mateu can be found riding bikes! His coffee stop order is a sparkling water…



Oscar is from the south of Spain & lives with his family here in Girona. He is obsessed with gravel cycling & is the proud owner of a Ridley Kanzo Adventur & a Reilly titanium road bike. When not working with bikes Oscar can be found riding bikes, often with his son Cai.



Raul is from Granada & looks after our finances. He loves good music, good food, good wine & the occasional sherry from Jerez. Raul is a long-time customer of Eat Sleep Cycle & rides a steel 2-11 road bike.

Our Guides



Joan is a Catalan local from Manresa. He knows our local Girona roads well and can also be found guiding in the Pyrenees.



Thibaut is a photographer by trade & is from Provence. He excells in the high mountains and can be found guiding in the Alps, Provence & the Pyrenees.



Antton is from Finland and moved to San Sebastian after many years in Barcelona. He is a great photographer & can be found guiding in the Pyrenees, North Spain & Girona.



Knut is from Germany and has embraced the Girona way of life. A Designer by trade, a mountain-biker by nature, Knut works as a road, gravel & mtb guide in Girona as well as running tours for Eat Sleep Cycle throughout the year.



Gethyn is a Welshman who’s settled in Girona. He speaks Catalan like a local, is a lover of ridiculously long bike rides (dawn ’til dusk style) and teaches English for a living.



Berta is from Vic, Catalunya and runs her own successful Physio practice, Gabinet Medic Girona. Berta is known for making the best roadside lunches & giving the best massages on tour!



Mario is from Italy & guides all over Europe!



Julie is from the USA. She relocated to Mallorca to live the cycling dream after a long career in teaching. Julie guides in Mallorca, Girona & the Pyrenees!



Mikel is from the Basque Country but lives with his partner in Malaga. Mikel guides all over Spain & on the Spanish islands too!

Open Group Ride

Lazy Lunes is our weekly Eat Sleep Cycle Club ride and is open to all in possession of a road bicycle.
Meet at 10 am at the Eat Sleep Cycle HQ, every Monday.

Beers & Bravas

Social Night

Join our Thursday night social and meet other cyclists in town.
We meet from 7 pm at the Eat Sleep Cycle Cafè Restaurant.
