Welcome to Piemonte!

Meet your guides & fellow riders at the fabulous NH Piazza Carlina located in the heart of the historic centre of Torino, a city with amazing history and beautiful Baroque architecture. Enjoy a relaxed lunch toghether before getting set up on the bikes and climbing to the Basilica of Superga. Soak up stunning views of the Alps and the surrounding hills – let the adventure begin!

Torino to Alba

Today we ride to Alba, visiting tiny medieval villages, castles, and royal residences. Admire the scenery and enjoy the gourmet delights on the way. Alba is right in the heart of Langhe, Italy’s premier wine region. The city is well known for its historical center and its vibrant community.

Alba to Sant Uffizio

Say farewell to Alba and set a course north-east to Sant Uffizio! Our rolling route travels through quiet vineyards and rolling countryside surrounding Asti. Our destination is the splendid Relais Sant’Uffizio Wellness & Spa, nestled between the hills of the Langhe-Monferrato area and the Barbera vineyards. This historic monastery turned boutique hotel is a haven of elegance, surrounded by vineyards and pretty red brick villages.

Monferrato Loop

The Monferrato Loop is a picturesque cycling route that takes you through the beautiful countryside of Piemonte, Enjoy the rolling hills, vineyards, and small historic towns along the way, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Enjoy a free afternoon and take some time to relax at the hotel. Tonight is also free from the group – take the opportnity to visit the two michelin star restaurant Locanda del Sant’Uffizio by Enrico Bartolini (not included in the trip but we can assist with reservations).

Biella to Lago d'Orta

After breakfast we ride to Lago d’Orta via Santuario Oropa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that hosted the stage 14 mountain finish in the 2024 last edition of Giro d’Italia. We’ll enjoy a final evening together at Hotel Giardinetto and share memories of an amazing week together in Piemonte!

FULL SUPPORT

Enjoy small group sizes and professional, personal support all week from your guides & support vehicle.

We work with an industry leading guide to guest ratio – expect up to 4 guests per guide on the trip with guides leading the way on the road and a support vehicle close by at all times. Note that for groups of 4 riders or less this tour is run as a guided trip without the support vehicle.

The ride support vehicle is stocked with natural ride nutrition, electrolytes and water, as well as a full set of tools to resolve any mechanicals. On selected days the support crew will serve a delicious picnic lunch in a scenic location en route. Enjoy local foods chosen to keep you feeling energized and healthy.

What happens if I need to cancel the trip?
We have a flexible cancelation policy - please take a look at our cancellation policyat the time of booking. If you have any doubts please reach out and we're happy to help.

Is the tour the right level for me?
We rate our tours from Level 1 (Leisure) to Level 4 (Epic). Each tour contains a description of the level, expected daily ride time, distance and elevation. If you have any doubts we're more that happy to speak to you on the phone and help to find you the perfect trip!

What about bikes? Can I hire one or should I bring my own?
We recommend that you hire a bike for your tour and will work with you after you book to help you to choose the best size and model for your ride style. If you prefer to bring your bike, it's no problem. Please be aware that on some of our epic trips we charge a supplement to transport your bike box to our finishing location. If you have any doubts, please ask!

Is insurance included?
Insurance is not included in our tour packages. We highly recommend contracting travel insurance at the time of reservation with a company from where you are from.

Health insurance which covers you for illness or injury whilst cycling in your chosen destination is mandatory, we'll ask you for details of your insurance provider before you travel.
