Our Coach, Dave Smith
Dave has coached cyclists in all disciplines for more than 25 years. A former GB national and Olympic road coach, Dave has trained Tour de France stage winners, Olympic medalists, World Champions & National Champions. In addition, Dave has worked with dozens of regular cyclists, polo players and F1 drivers.
As a professional who combines a scientific foundations with creative strategies and counter intuitive methods, Dave has specialised for years in giving his clients permission to attain the outstanding new levels of fitness and performance that they secretly knew they could achieve.
How does it work?
Signing up for an Eat Sleep Cycle coaching plan is simple, you don’t need to be in Girona or even be in the same time zone as Girona. There is no need for any tests or powermeters, although the more information you can give us, the better.

- Receive your welcome email & complete our initial coaching questionnaire
- Your personal plan is created & emailed to you – wherever possible our Coach will arrange a call with you to run through the detail & with follow up questions
- Complete weekly feedback online – your plan will be modified accordingly
