Tackle the classic cycling climbs of the Giro d’Italia in Northern Italy. Ride out of two locations: Corvara in the Dolomites & Bormio in the Italian Alps. Tackle up to 11 bucket list Giro climbs including the iconic slopes of: Passo Stelvio (up to 3 ways!), Passo Mortirolo, Passo Gavia, Passo Giau, the Sella Ronda’s & Passo Falzarego.
Discover the beauty of the Sella Ronda, climb with the ghost of Pantani on the Mortirolo and channel your inner Dumoulin on the slopes of the Stelvio.
On an Eat Sleep Cycle tour all you have to think about is enjoying your ride. Our trip support is second to none and we pride ourselves on a high staff-guest ratio. We take care of everything so you can savour the ride of a lifetime. This is a flexible itinerary offering riders the opportunity to extend or shorten the ride depending on their fitness level.

Arrival, transfers from Venice Airport to Corvara
Day 2:
Passo Giau, Passo Falzarego, Passo Valparola, Mur dl Giat, 83 km, 2,500 m
Day 3:
Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, Passo Gardena, Passo Sella, 52 km, 1,600 m
Day 4:
Transfer to from Corvara to Lasa
Ride Stage 18 of the 2020 Giro from Lasa to Lake Cancano via Passo Stelvio, 89 km, 2800 m
Day 5:
Passo Mortirolo & Passo Gavia, 112 km, 3,200 m
Day 6:
Passo Stelvio from Bormio & the Umbrail Pass, 97 km, 3,200 m

Departure from Bormio
IS THIS TOUR FOR ME?
Our Classic Climbs of the Giro is a fully supported tour. Experienced guides will set a comfortable pace for the group between climbs & invite guests to ride at their own pace up the mountains. Enjoy the back-up of of a support vehicle stocked with ride nutrition, food & water, as well as a change of clothes if the weather turns.

Full Support
Rides are fully supported by our team of guides and vehicles.
The ride support vehicle is stocked with natural ride nutrition, electrolytes and water. On longer days the team will serve a roadside lunch – a time efficient pit stop with the right balance of carbohydrates, protein, fruit & veg to keep you energized and feeling healthy all week.
Eat Sleep Cycle ride leaders are experienced riders from all walks of life united by a love of Cycling who’ll help to keep the group safe, motivated and savouring the trip of a lifetime. Our Tour Leaders know the region well and speak the local language.
Mechanical support will be close by at all times.

The Italians have a real love affair with food and this is one aspect of the trip to be excited about.
Breakfast is a buffet at the hotel each morning. We will keep you fuelled on the road with our favourite ride nutrition. We serve a cold lunch roadside; our proven way to keep you pedalling & avoid long wait-times at cafes and restaurants.
Dinner is included at each hotel. Sit back, relax & enjoy Italian cooking & hospitality at its best.

Travel Logistics
Arrive: Meet at Venice Airport at 10 am on Day 1 of the tour for a group transfer to Corvara.
Depart: Take a group transfer to Milan Malpensa Airport on Day 7 of the tour. You will be at the airport by 12 noon, in time for flights departing after 14:00.
Guests are responsible for booking their own flights and travel
insurance.

2nd payment: 50% of the balance is due 2 months in advance of the tour.
