Join our unique women’s cycling training camp in Girona, Catalonia. Girona offers stress-free routes (no potholes, no crazy traffic) so all you have to do is think about is getting the best out of the ride. The itinerary showcases the best of Girona’s cycling and its huge variety of terrain. Prepare to marvel at the rugged coastline of the Costa Brava, beautiful climbs and spectacular Catalan scenery. There will be two ride groups throughout the week led by experienced (female) guides.
The camp brings together women from all stages of their cycling development, from beginners through to seasoned racers; there’s nothing like the fun, supportive nature of all all-female group to make you feel on top of the world!

After an (optional) transfer from Barcelona Airport to Girona, meet with the team at the Eat Sleep Cycle hub for a tour brief, bike set-up and the first warm-up ride of the camp. The group will be split into two levels for this camp, but both groups will head out on the first day together. Enjoy an evening meal in Girona’s old town
On day 2, after a buffet breakfast at the hotel, both groups will gear up and ride out as a group to Banyoles. This route leads into the rolling countryside just north of Girona to the town of Banyoles and Banyoles lake, boasting spectacular views. Enjoy a lake-side coffee before the ride back to Girona where you’re free to take your pick for lunch. In the late afternoon take advatage of a mobility, pilates & recovery session and ensure you’re ready to ride for the rest of the week. Tonight enjoy an evening meal with the group at a local Catalan restaurant.
The group will split for the second half of the ride on day three, with the longer group riding out further to Sant Hilari Sacalm, It’s around a 25 km climb to the top at a generous 2.6% average gradient, overall a pleasant climb! Once back in Girona, both groups are free to explore the city at their own pace and enjoy an evening meal at a location of their choice. The Eat Sleep Cycle team will be more than happy to provide recommendations.
On day 4, the group splits into two again after climbing one of Girona’s classic climbs, Els Angels. The first group will loop back towards Girona along the flats, while the second group will complete the Hincapie Loop including another climb. Tonight is paella night with the group!
The penultimate day of the tour brings another classic Girona ride – the Costa Brava. This stunning, rugged coastline has inspired artists and writers throughout history, so it’s not to be missed while in the area! The two groups will ride out to Tossa de Mar together and enjoy lunch at the beach. Then, the first group will get a transfer back to the city, while the second group will ride the loop back to base, which includes another 12 km climb. Enjoy a celebration evening meal at the Eat Sleep Cycle Cafè on the final night of the Girona Women’s Cycling Camp.
Sadly, it is time to say goodbye to Girona.

The ride support vehicle is stocked with natural ride nutrition, electrolytes and water, as well as a full set of tools to resolve any mechanicals. On selected days the support crew will serve a delicious picnic lunch in a scenic location en route. Enjoy local foods chosen to keep you feeling energized and healthy.

The Filante SLR is an extremely lightweight aerodynamic bicycle used by World Tour team Astana. Enjoy a Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset and DT Swiss ERC 1400 wheelset.
Our top of the range road e-bike from Wilier. Enjoy a lightweight carbon frame, carbon wheelset and Shimano Ultegra Di2 shifting. The Filante Hybrid has a range of 1,000-2,000m of elevation, or constant use 1.5-2hrs. Range extenders are avialable to hire which doubles this range.
A comfortable e-road bike with a lightweight carbon frameset and a clean-cut design featuring fully integrated cable routing. The Garda Hybrid uses the proven and reliable Mahle X35+ drive unit with 250 Wh motor inserted in the rear hub while the battery is housed in the down tube. The groupset is Shimano 105 Di2. The Garda has an autonomy of 1,000-2,000m of elevation, or constant use 1.5-2hrs – it’s possible to rent a range extender to double the range for an additional fee.

Emanuela is Italian and after many years living in Barcelona relocated to Mallorca. She started triathlon 10 years ago and has made it her life! Alongside guiding Emanuela hosts guests from all over the world in her Airbnb.
Laura is a guide, professional cycling coach and endurance cyclist who has completed some of the coolest ultradistance gravel events (which she absolutely loved!). Laura loves guiding as she really enjoys empowering people to ride their bikes and discover new places, help their cycling adventures come true, and share unforgettable moments together.
