Summary

This seven-day tour of Andalucia is an unmissable opportunity to visit three of Spain’s most beautiful cities, ride the winding inland roads that snake through the region, and enjoy spectacular views and natural wonders along the way.

Start the week with two days in Ronda, a hill-top village home to the impressive Puente Nuevo. The first and second days of this Andalucian tour feature two beautiful loops around the local countryside, passing through the white hill-top villages this region is so well-known for. Whilst in Ronda, you’ll be staying at Hotel Catalonia, an elegant four-start hotel, perfectly located in the city centre of the city, complete with rooftop bar and infinity pool. After Ronda, the tour will head east to Antequera, a pretty town with Roman origins, and home to awe-inspiring, millenia-old rock formations in the nearby natural park, El Torcal de Antequera. Here, you’ll be staying in the Parador de Antequera, a four-star hotel and strikingly modern building overlooking the Andalusian landscape. It’s just a 10 min walk to the centre of Antequera and a perfect base to cycle from.

The tour continues east once again to Alhama de Granada, a typical white Andlaucian town, and then on to the third and final destination, Granada, where you’ll be staying in a 19th-century four-star manor house, Villa Oniria. It has been tastefully restored in a traditional Andalusian style and is a wonderful base from which to conclude the tour. This magical city is home to the Alhambra, which dates back to the 9th century and is one of the best-preserved examples of Islamic architecture in Europe. Granada also sits at the base of the mighty Sierra Nevada, the playground for the final ride on day 6.
