Begin your journey at our Eat Sleep Cycle Cafe in the centre of Girona and enjoy a relaxed warm-up rid. The next day the coast is calling! Ride down to the magnificent Tossa de Mar. Take on Sant Grau, a wonderful 9 km climb with 385 m of elevation and 4% average. Look out for hidden beach coves along your journey and if your legs are feeling good, walk the Camí de Ronda from your hotel in Llafranc and see how versatile this region is. Ride across the hills in Begur and discover the relaxing wine region of Empordà as you gradually pedal your way north along the Costa Brava. Take on Sant Pere de Rodes climb and witness the impressive Monastery at the top. Drop down into Cadaques and finish the the finish village that the artist Salvador Dalí called homw.

Start the adventure with a wonderful ride to the magnificent Tossa de Mar. Ride through small villages, quiet lanes and calming countryside. Once in Llagostera, the challenge of the day begins. Take one Sant Grau, a wonderful 9 km climb with 385 m of elevation and 4% average. From the top, glide down to the picturesque seaside.
Ride with the sea on your right today and enjoy a rolling ride from Tossa de Mar to Sant Feliu. Pass through the pretty cove of S’Agaro and the busy town of Platja d’Aro. Continue along Calonge seafront and at Palamos head inland across flat farmland before turning back to the coast & the pretty villages of Calella & our resting place, Llafranc. Enjoy an afternoon at your own pace – relax on the beach or walk the Cami Ronda to Calella de Palafrugell.
Today, start with the challenging climbs around the Begur headland. After 25 km of beautiful, rolling terrain relax and enjoy the flat wine making region of Empordà. Pass through the medieval villages of Pals and Palau-Sator. Skirt around the base of the Montgri natural park (look out for the castle on top of the hill).
Enjoy a flat ride north from the hotel through the villages of Sant Pere Pescador, Castello d’Empuries & Vilajuïga. From here the road climbs up past Roses and descends into the village of Cadaqués. You are rewarded with spectacular views as you climb and descend.

We’ll welcome you to the start of your tour, talk you through the week ahead and ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a great ride.
Guests receive a detailed digital Road Book, containing routes, route descriptions, details of hotels and our recommended places to stop along the way and enjoy in the evenings. Guests can choose to navigate from their own phone or GPS devices are available on request.
On a self-guided tour we take care of your luggage and move it from hotel to hotel. We also provide a contact number for support during the trip and will help you out of any situation.
We recommend that guests are able to fix a puncture and perform basic roadside bike repairs to best enjoy a self-gudied tour.

The Filante SLR is an extremely lightweight aerodynamic bicycle used by World Tour team Astana. Enjoy a Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset and DT Swiss ERC 1400 wheelset.
Our top of the range road e-bike from Wilier. Enjoy a lightweight carbon frame, carbon wheelset and Shimano Ultegra Di2 shifting. The Filante Hybrid has a range of 1,000-2,000m of elevation, or constant use 1.5-2hrs. Range extenders are avialable to hire which doubles this range.
A comfortable e-road bike with a lightweight carbon frameset and a clean-cut design featuring fully integrated cable routing. The Garda Hybrid uses the proven and reliable Mahle X35+ drive unit with 250 Wh motor inserted in the rear hub while the battery is housed in the down tube. The groupset is Shimano 105 Di2. The Garda has an autonomy of 1,000-2,000m of elevation, or constant use 1.5-2hrs – it’s possible to rent a range extender to double the range for an additional fee.
