Rated 3 out of 4 our Advanced tours are designed for people who ride regularly and want back to back challenging days on the bike. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.
Rendesvoux with the group at Eat Sleep Cycle at 12 noon. Meet your guides, fellow riders and get your bike set up for the week ahead. The first ride is on rolling terrain with two steady climbs and a punchy finish.
Today we crank up the climbing and enjoy views of the mediterranean as we take on the climbs to Rumanya & Calonge.
On Day 3 we’ll take things a little easier – enjoy rolling terrain and a stop for lunch at Banyoles Lake before cruising home.
Today we head north out of the city and climb the Vall de Llemena. Continue climbing to the mountain town of Olot, where we’ll stop to re-fuel. Climb out of Olot and enjoy the reward – a long decent through Santa Pau to Banyoles and back to Girona.
After yesterday’s sufferfest today we’ll take an easier ride on the classic ‘Hincapie Loop’. After climb one we’ll enjoy a lunch stop in the historic village of Monells, before tackling climb 2 to Santa Pelaia and looping back to Girona
For our last ride of the week take on a epic endurance ride. Head out across Empordà to the small coastal roads of the Begur headland. We’ll wind through medieval villages, olive groves and vineyards to the town of Pals. From here we’ll head to the coast and enjoy a roller-coaster section of steep climbs and descents around the headland. Celebrate tonight with a special evening meal in Girona centre.
Sadly, the tour draws to an end on day 6, and all that’s left to do is say our goodbyes and prepare for the journey home.
