Summary

Welcome to Ljubljana! The tour showcases some of the best roads and historical insights into this tiny but scenic country. The journey begins by riding up into Logar Valley. This is a beautiful region with alpine glacial valleys which flow into the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the north of Slovenia. Climb into Austria – a 9 km climb gaining 700 metres. There is a short and sweet descent before tackiling the second and more gentle climb into the Jezersko region of Slovenia and into the postcard village of Lake Bled. Taste local wine and Bled cake as you embrace the mountains around you. Tackle the Vršič Pass. This was formally known as the Russian Road and was built for military services. The climb features 50 hairpins and breathtaking views. The final ride of the tour is up to the rider’s needs. You can either test your legs up the Mangart Saddle (2055 m) offerring panoramic views of Slovenia. Or, take a more relaxing but equally beautiful ride along the valley back.

The tour features our handpicked hotels in each destination, each offering excellent hospitality and culrinary expertise. The hotel in Logar Valley is remote, providing a soothing atmosphere with mountain views surrounding you. In lake Bled, the hotel offers stunning views of the lake with a short walking distance to various shops and cafes. The final destination is a small village in the heart of the Triglav national park. Expect wooden architecture and fresh mountain air.

The tour includes breakfast each day at your hotel. We will provide you with our top recommendations to dine out each evening at local restaurants and en route to keep you fueled for the week.
