Welcome to cycling paradise on the Mediterranean coast. Ride a stunning loop from the Catalan city of Girona to Tossa de Mar, Llafranc, Empuriabrava and Cadaqués. Each destination has it’s own special character and a unique beach to relax after each ride. Enjoy the evenings sampling delicous meals and views of the sea.
Sleep in a new location each night in one of our handpicked 3 or 4* hotels along the route, including the Hotel Carlemany in Girona, the Boutique Hotel Can Pico in L’Escala and Llane Petit in Cadaqués on the final night. Fuel up with breakfast at the hotel before each day of riding, a light lunch en route and a evening meal in a new, picture-postcard town each night.
This is a fully supported tour on quiet roads, designed for riders who love to enjoy cycling and relaxation in equal measure.
Rated 2 out of 4 our Intermediate tours are designed for sporty people who are looking to enjoy some more challenging rides. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.

The first leg of the tour kicks off with a 50 km ride south from Girona to Tossa de Mar on the coast. Head for lunch along the seafront and enjoy the evening exploring Tossa de Mar at your own pace. Don’t miss the town’s impressive castle!
After fuelling up with a good breakfast at the hotel, ride north, hugging the rugged Costa Brava coastline to the village of Llafranc. Spend the afternoon and evening relaxing and exploring the town. Take a stroll along the Camí de Ronda and stretch your legs in preparation for tomorrow’s ride. Tonight is a free evening – take your pick of Llafranc’s casual seafood restaurants or book a table at the michelin star restaurant Casamar.
Day 4 brings a mix of coastal views and pretty roads as the route snakes inland through Torroella de Montgrí and towards the hotel in Montiró. In the afternoon take a stroll along the coast and visit the Roman Ruïnes d’Empuries. Enjoy an evening meal with the group tonight, included in the tour.
The final stretch awaits today as the route snakes northwards through the pretty towns of Sant Pere Pescador and Castelló d’Empúries, before a scenic climb and descent to the seaside town of El Port de la Selva before crossing over the final hill to Cadaqués, considered by many to be the most beautiful town on the Costa Brava. Take some time in the afternoon to explore the winding streets and beachfront cafés. There will also be time to visit Salvador Dali´s house in Port Lligat (advance booking recommended) before a final evening meal with the team at our favourite restaurant in Cadaques.
Sadly, the time has come to say goodbye. However, there is the option to extend the tour in Cadaqués or Girona. Ask the Eat Sleep Cycle team for a self-guided track back to Girona and discover more hidden corners of Catalonia!
