Experience the raw beauty and professional intensity of the 2026 Vuelta a España on this focused 5-day journey through the heart of Andalusia. Starting on the shores of the Mediterranean in Almuñécar, we tackle the dramatic climbs of the Costa del Sol before heading north into the rolling olive groves of Jaén.
The highlight is the legendary Sierra de la Pandera, a summit finish that has defined Vuelta history. You’ll ride the same gradients as the pros before joining the roadside fans to witness the explosive stage finish. With stays in the historic Parador de Jaén and the heart of Córdoba, this tour perfectly balances world-class cycling with the best of Spanish heritage.
Rated 3 out of 4 our Advanced tours are designed for people who ride regularly and want back to back challenging days on the bike. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.
Welcome to the Costa del Sol. After a group transfer from Málaga, we settle into Almuñécar, a gem of the Tropical Coast. Our opening ride is a short but punchy warm-up to find our climbing legs, heading inland where the hills rise sharply from the Mediterranean.
The Vuelta is in full swing. We follow the Stage 13 departure from the coast as the peloton heads north. Our route takes us through the rugged interior, tackling the beautiful climbs that define the border between the coast and the olive groves of Jaén.
Today is all about the headline act: the Sierra de la Pandera. This is a legendary Vuelta finish characterized by steep gradients. We’ll ride the final kilometers ourselves before finding the perfect spot to watch the world’s best climbers fight for the win.
We transfer toward Córdoba to witness Stage 15. The climb to Puerto Artafi provides a tactical platform for the race. We’ll climb this sector ourselves, enjoying the rolling terrain of the Sierra Morena before settling into the heart of the city.
After a final Andalusian breakfast, Part 1 guests depart. For those continuing the journey, we transfer west toward the Atlantic coast and Mazagón to begin Part 2 of the adventure.
