Welcome to an unforgettable week of road cycling in Nice. Ride the best of the Côte d’Azur and the Maritime Alps alongside our expert local guides, with full support on every stage. From iconic climbs like the Col d’Èze, Col de Turini, La Madone and Col de Braus to breathtaking days on the legendary Corniche roads, every ride delivers challenge, variety and spectacular views.
After each ride, relax in our centrally located 4★ hotel, wander through Nice’s atmospheric old town or along the Promenade des Anglais, and enjoy dinners at our favourite local restaurants across the city.
Rated 3 out of 4 our Advanced tours are designed for people who ride regularly and want back to back challenging days on the bike. Riders should be confident riding in a small group, comfortable on extended climbs (at your own pace) and have good bike handling skills on corners and descents. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.
Rendesvoux with the group at 10:00 at the Eat Sleep Cycle Nice Cycling Hub. Meet your guides and fellow riders over a coffee and learn all about the rides ahead! Enjoy a relaxed warm up ride on the Col d’Eze and return to Nice for a light lunch and a free afternoon to explore.
Meet the group for an aperitvo in the evening before heading out for dinner in the city centre.
After breakfast we take a short 30 min transfer to the starting point of today’s spectacular ride back to Nice over the Madone d’Utelle. The climb winds through small forested roads and opens up to spectacular views at the top. With the bulk oft the climbing done in the first 30 kms, the rest of the ride is no less spectacular!
Two mighty climbs are on the cards today. After a short transfer to the village of L’Escarène the climbing begins with the Col du Braus. Enjoy a spectacular descent to the village of Sospel and the base of our second challenge of the day, the Col du Turini a 24 km ascent to 1,600 m. Enjoy the craggy rock faces and waterfalls of the Gorges du Piaon and the switchbacks made famous by the Monte Carlo Rally. A 26 km descent back to L’Escarène is your reward!
After the huge effort of the day before today is more relaxed, with a cruise along the coast to Monaco where we’ll attempt a lap of the F1 circuit before continuing along the coast to the picturesque town of Menton where coffee awaits. The Col de la Madone is a 14 km climb rising out of Menton to a height of just over 900 m. Home is a 25 km descent from the top!
For our grand finale we’ll take on a spectaucular route. Starting in Menton we’ll ride out and up inland to the Col de Castillon. We’ll descend to Sospel, climb the reverese of the Col du Braus and continue up to the summit of the Col de l’Able. 1,400 m of descending takes us all the way back to Nice where it’s time to relax and get ready for our last night together on the mediterranean.
Sadly it’s time to say farewell! With empty legs and full hearts, it’s time to start thinking about the next adventure!

France has a way of pulling cyclists in. Maybe it’s the sweep of the mountains, the quiet backroads through vineyards, or the simple pleasure of rolling into a sunlit village for a coffee that somehow tastes better than anywhere else. Our cycling holidays in France are built around those moments. You can take on iconic climbs straight from the Tour de France, spin between châteaux, or wander through river valleys at a gentler pace. Whatever your riding style, we craft tours that feel personal, supported by local knowledge, great food, and the kind of atmosphere that turns a good trip into an unforgettable one.
