LJUBLJANA

Llubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is also known as the Green Capital due to the abundance of parks, trees and green spaces. Llubljana sits either side of the Ljubljanica River that flows through the heart of the city, its banks dotted with stylish bars, restaurants and well-kept gardens. It's the ideal city break location, and perfect for strolling or cycling around its colourful streets.

The Vršič Pass

THE VRŠIČ PASS

The Vršič Pass is the highest road in the Eastern Julian Alps, reaching an altitude of 1,611 m. The challenging ascent (with some sections over 10%) is made easier by the stunning scenery on all sides of the road, which is in great condition for cyclists. High rocky peaks, lush green fields and crystal clear rivers make this climb worth every km of effort!

Lake Bled

LAKE BLED

Slovenia is full of hidden natural gems, and Lake Bled is one of them! The stunningly blue water is surrounded by green forests and the soaring peaks of the Julian Alps. Don't miss a boat trip acorss to the iconic island in the middle of the lake, home to the Baroque Church of Assumption, built in the 17th century. An aura of calm and tranquility is palpable from all angles and corners of this awe-inspiring natural wonder.

The Julian Alps stretch from northeastern Italy to Slovenia, culminating in their highest peak, Mount Triglav, which stands at an impressive altitude of 2,864 m! The expansive forests, lakes and architectural gems provide more than enough to explore, including a host of walking and cycling trails to discover the breath-taking landscape on foot or by bike.
