Welcome to 3 days of gravel-riding in Catalunya North. The tour is designed for intermediate to advanced gravel-lovers who are looking for a short and challengeing trip away. Ride from Girona and over the French border into Le Boulou. Transversing west of the pyrenees and climb back into Catalonia. Expect quiet paths, epic views, hidden villages and a spectacular adventure!
Enjoy one night in the Vallespir Valley across the border in France and one night in the Camprodon Valley. There are two nights in Girona before and after the tour, giving you the ability to indulge in its excellent hospitality and buzzing ccylnig scene.
The tour includes a welcome light lunch on day 1 as well as breakfast each mornnig at your hotel. It is possible to add half-board option to the tour, ensuring you get a taste of the region, just ask us!
Rated 3 out of 4 our Advanced tours are designed for people who ride regularly and want back to back challenging days on the bike. Riders should be confident riding in a small group, comfortable on extended climbs (at your own pace) and have good bike handling skills on corners and descents. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.
The tour begins at the Eat Sleep Cycle hub where you’ll recevie a light lunch, welcome brieifng and bike set up. Start the trip with a short warm up ride to Bonmatí to ensure your bike is runnnig smoothly for the next few days ahead.
The real journey begins today as you ride from Girona all the way over the French border and into Le Boulou. There are a number of short and sweet climbs in the ride with two main climbs as you climb into France and then into Le Boulou village. These average 7% on mixed terrain. We’ll let you know all the good stops along the way to ensure you are fuelled well.
Today takes you further west of the pyrenees and back down into Catalonia. Ride along the gorge Mondony as you steadily ascend into the the Coll d’Ares. The ride has less undulation but longer, steadier climbs with mixed terrain.
The final ride takes you back to Girona. For the die-hard gravel lovers who love to climb, begin the ride heading west towards Setcases and climb over the Collada Fonda national park. The climb is steady but accumulates over 900 m over 22 kilomtres. This is a wide gravel path offering picturesque vistas over the mountain ranges before descending down into Camprodon. From here, head over Vall del Bac, another gorgeous montain range offerring unbeatable views.
Sadly, the tour draws to an end on day 5, and all that’s left to do is bid farewell to the unique city of Girona.

We’ll welcome you to the start of your tour, talk you through the week ahead and ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a great ride.
Guests receive a detailled digital Road Book, containing routes, route descriptions, details of hotels and our recommended places to stop along the way and enjoy in the evenings. Guests can choose to navigate from their own phone or GPS devices are available on request.
On a self-guided tour we take care of your luggage and move it from hotel to hotel. We also provide a contact number for support during the trip and will help you out of any situation.
We recommend that guests are able to fix a puncture and perform basic roadside bike repairs to best enjoy a self-gudied tour.
