FAQs

1
What rider level is best for a Mallorca cycling holiday?
You don't need to be a racer, but you should be comfortable with regular riding and sustained climbs. We rate our tours from Level 1 (Leisure) to Level 4 (Epic), with each tour clearly outlining expected daily distance, ride time and elevation. Not sure which suits you? We are always happy to chat it through and find the perfect trip.
2
When is the best time to cycle in Mallorca?
Mallorca is a year-round destination, but March to May and September to November offer the best conditions. Warm temperatures, dry roads and quieter routes make for ideal riding. Spring is especially popular when the island fills with cyclists and the mountains are looking their best.
3
Which climbs and routes will I ride?
That depends on your tour, but Mallorca's finest are all there to be ridden. Sa Calobra, Puig Major and Cap de Formentor all sit within the Serra de Tramuntana, the island's UNESCO-listed mountain range, where the roads were practically made for cycling.
4
Can I hire a bike in Mallorca or bring my own?
Both options are available. We offer a fleet of high-quality rental bikes including road and carbon options, each properly fitted before you ride. If you prefer to bring your own, that is absolutely fine. Just confirm the arrangements at the time of booking.
5
Are the tours guided or self-guided?
We offer both. Guided tours put you in the hands of an experienced local guide who knows every climb, descent and café worth stopping at. Self-guided holidays come with detailed route notes and GPX files so you can ride at your own pace with full confidence.
6
Can I join as a solo traveller?
Absolutely. Solo riders are very welcome on all group departures and it is one of the best ways to meet like-minded cyclists. Many of our solo guests come back year after year, and Mallorca has a lot to do with that.
7
What's included in a Mallorca cycling holiday?
Accommodation, daily routes, GPX files, premium bike hire, luggage transfers and mechanical support are all included. International flights and personal travel insurance are not included. Optional extras such as single room upgrades can be arranged at the time of booking.
8
What should I pack for my trip?
Bring a lightweight, layered cycling kit to handle warm coastal roads and cooler mountain passes, along with sun protection, good gloves and a small first-aid kit. Once booked, we will send you a full packing list with everything you need before you fly.
